“Out of This World” An Evening of Music and Astronomy Presenting “Secrets Of The Stars” A Conversation with Astrophysicist Massimo Pascale with The Celestial Saxophone Sounds of Cameron Black Featuring Intergalactic Songs including Fly Me to The Moon, Rocket Man, Space Oddity, Twilight Zone and much more!
Massimo Pascale - Astrophysicist
Growing up under the starry desert skies of Arizona, Massimo became fascinated with the cosmos at an early age and has followed that passion into a life of exploration and research and exciting revelations. Currently finishing his PhD in astrophysics at UC Berkeley, he studies a range of topics from how galaxies evolve to the expansion rate of the universe. He makes use of state of the art instruments, such as the recently launched James Webb Space Telescope, to peer back in time at stellar nurseries in the young universe. His specialty lies in combining these man-made telescopes with telescopes provided by nature, massive clusters of galaxies, which through general relativity act as magnifying glasses to reveal the first generation of stars. As a Speaker, Educator and Guide through the uncharted, his insight and knowledge provides a thrilling peek into the unknown.
